Oct. 15 Game of the Week Preview: Bandys at Maiden

By Nicole Darin - email

MAIDEN, NC (WBTV) - The Football Friday Night crew will be traveling to the "Biggest Little Football Town in the World" this week as the Maiden Blue Devils host the Bandys Trojans in an important Catawba Valley conference matchup.

The Trojans lost to West Caldwell by one score last week and they are desperate to get back on track and snap a current 5-game losing skid.

The Maiden Blue Devils have a 4-3 record this season and look to clean up their conference record of 1-2 so they can gain momentum in the Catawba Valley standings.

Don't let their records fool you - this will be a great conference rivalry game as these teams DO NOT like each other. Maiden is led by head coach Brian Brown and Bandys is led by head coach Randy Lowman.
