Water restrictions January 23 through 27 for equipment replacement | News

Lincoln County Public Works will be replacing an essential piece of equipment at the Water Treatment Plant in order to continue to provide customers with a quality water supply, officials say.

This work may limit, for a short period of time, the amount of water available to customers. 

To insure that customers have an adequate supply of water, the following restrictions will be in place from January 23 through January 27. 

The following activities are requested to be limited during this time period:

• No lawn irrigation.
• No filling of pools or topping off pools.
• No car washing or pressure washing at homes.
• No water from fire hydrants for any purpose other than firefighting or other public emergency.
